SERVICES RENDERED BY US*:

 

     Our services include all that a buyer needs for successful buying such as:

     a. Locating suppliers:

We select industrial units, which are capable of delivering garments according to the overseas buyers’ requirements. For this, we consider their industrial infrastructure, experience and past performance as also their financial strength. Here we analyse information from all our global network to judge the correct source of supply, country wise and factory wise.

     b. Identify Fabric Source:

As a primary check to ensure correct quality, wherever necessary we guide suppliers as to proper source of fabric and identify industries which can deliver in time, good quality fabric of desired weight, construction and colour fastness etc.

     c. Arrange Sampling:

We arrange sampling from appropriate suppliers as per buyers` designs, sketches etc. Samples against orders and Promotional samples sent by suppliers are free of charge. But cost of samples developed at Buyers' instance against which no order is received within 3 months is normally borne by buyers.

     d. Obtain Best Prices:

We scrutinize prices quoted by the supplier and with our own experience of the cost structure in the country, obtain the most realistic prices for our buyers.

     e. Quality control:

Once an order has been placed with a supplier, we take the following steps to see that only correct merchandise is shipped:-

1.     We draw samples of fabric to be used and get its quality, weight, shrinkage, colour fastness, etc. tested by S.G.S. or any other inspection agency desired by the buyer. We also call for lab-dips and obtain buyers’ approval of shades before bulk fabric is dyed.

2.     Before production is started, we obtain approval sample and satisfy ourselves as to size specifications, workmanship, cleanliness and proper fit of the garment. It is our experience that a buyer sometimes overlooks some important aspects (e.g. neck opening measurements). At this stage normally such anomalies are detected and we seek buyer’s clarification to avoid a disaster.

3.     We also suggest from time to time, possible improvements in production process to improve workmanship and get perfect merchandise.

4.     Our supervisors visit factories at regular intervals, making surprise checks, to see that only the correct merchandize is produced.

5.     However, inspite of our best efforts, there still is a possibility that some defects in the consignment are detected at the last moment. In such accidental case, we prefer to hold the consignment as a whole and intimate the buyer with sufficient samples for taking a final decision if the consignment could still be shipped. Buyers would be free to take their own decision whether or not to accept such merchandise and/or to claim their losses from the suppliers. 

     f. Small orders:

We also organize small orders with several colour/design assortments because of our wide contacts upto the grass roots of textile industry in India. Handloom industry is the largest in India and produces at short notice high quality plains, checks, stripe dobbies & jacquards.

     g. Follow up & Status Report:

We follow up each order in precise details from fabric to garment, to shipment stage. At each stage, progress is intimated to buyer and he is kept informed of the actual status of his orders throughout. This is done as a routine auto-generated by computers.

     h. Organize efficient Shipping/Cargo handling:

As a policy, we insist that all our cargo must be handled only by reputed Forwarders, so that:

bulletwe get correct information well in time about exact sailing details, ETD / ETA of vessels.
bulletsmall orders being shipped by the same vessel may be consolidated if so desired by the buyer. This reduces buyer’s cost on freight charges and cargo handling at destination;
bulletin suitable circumstances, we may arrange grouping of cargo arriving from different suppliers. This system enables the buyer to import several consignments as one lot and reduces his import cost on freight, clearing, forwarding and cargo handling;
bulletwe can assist if required in negotiating and obtain special freight rates on the basis of regular turnover. This too results in reducing buyer’s cost of import.

     i. Post Shipment services:

  1. To avoid demurrage at destination, we collect copies of shipping documents such as B/L, AWB, Invoice, Packing list, original G.S.P., Certificate of Origin, Export Certificate etc. from all suppliers immediately after shipment and forward it to respective buyers.
  2. If as a remote possibility, a supplier does not follow terms of the order or arbitrarily ships anything other than the ordered merchandize, we advise the buyer about such deviations well in time.
  3. Should there still arise any misunderstanding or dissatisfaction in respect of any order, we actively help in finding a mutually acceptable solution to the problem.
